Update on the past month.

OK so i slacked off a little bit and didn't post a blog in like a month. I'm actually not sure if i post any Halloween pics so here are a bunch of random pics. I do have to mention it...Kay said "SANTA" the other day and if he comes on TV she will say his name. Isn't that great!!! I'm so excited, she comes out with the most random words ever. She is growing up so fast, at times i wish i could pause it and make the memories last forever

My little mouse/ rat baby!!!

Half the time i miss Sunday school and relief society cause Kay is really fussy(cause its her nap time), so I try to get her to sleep and she fights it as much as possible. Luckily i get some extra help by my mom or Cindy. She wont go to anyone else. :( Within a few seconds of Cindy holding her she was out. Then the bell rang and woke her right up. haha their is no winning.

My mom has a huge collection of snowmen. And we let Kaydence play with the stuffed ones. She loves these guys or any stuff animal.

So I took a few days off last week cause i was sick with the flu and so I took some time and played around with Kay's hair.

I wanted to do something special to Kay's hair for the Sunday before Christmas. so i put foam curlers in her hair. haha and the best part is she let me do it with not to much fussiness. But when i took them out the next morning the curls were way to tight and she looks like she had a afro. So She sat on my lap and i straighten it and it looked so cute.

After church we were just relaxing and i guess kay found a pencil and paper and started drawing on it. The crazy thing about it is I never really should her how to do it. She just did it all on her own. She amazes me everyday with the new things she does. I love waking up and watching to see what she will do.

SICK

So getting sick is like a chain reaction for my family. First it starts out with a cough then a runny nose and before you know it one by one we get sick. I hate being sick, all i want to do is stay in bed and sleep but some point in my life i decided to grow up and now i cant do that kind of stuff anymore. I feel so bad for little miss kaydence she has a horrible runny nose....its like a water faucet that never stops dripping. haha sorry but i couldnt describe it any other way. I feel helpless towards her...i wish their was more i could do for her to make her feel better. The worse part is she is teething too so on top of the runny nose junk everywhere she is covered in slubber. Any ideas on how to make her feel better besides drugging her up with meds....she is the worst kid to give that stuff to.

Sad the weekend had to end....

So this past weekend I had a good friend of mine from Utah come in for a visit. He came in Thursday night and stayed till Monday night. Eddie is his name and he live in orem going to school and working. He is originally from Spain. He is the biggest sweetheart i have ever met in my life. When he came in Thursday we went out and grabbed a late dinner at subway. We just sat and talked, i really enjoyed his company. Then Friday we headed down to Philly to go return stuff and do a little shopping. Which turned out to be a very long and exhausting day. Over 2 hours in a store and only walking out with a nice tie. haha Eddie cracks me up. So Saturday comes around and we all spent most of the day sleeping. The lack of sleep was starting to catch up to us. But then we finally got ready and Eddie being the sweet guy he is took my mom and me and Kay out to dinner. Only to bump into the The vielstichs family and Phillips family. We had some good laughs over dinner. Then he took just me out to the movies to see Max Payne...which was a pretty good movie. The best part of all the weekend was church. You should have seen all the looks and stares we were getting at church. I could only imagine what people were thinking. OHHHHH....Gabbi brought a boy to church. haha I had a lady that is kind of new make a comment about him but called him my husband. I about fell through the floor laughing. I also had to make it clear to some that he is just a friend in for a visit. I'm sure other rumors have started and i will have more questions next week. Continuing on my sister made us a huge pot roast dinner and we had some yummy chocolate cake for dinner. You will not believe how much this kid can eat, i kid you not he had 3 servings and i think 2 slices of cake. Where does he put it all, i think he said he has 5 % body fat on him. That made me sick to think about. haha

Monday....the saddest day of my week. For some reason he thought he wasn't leaving Newark til 7 so we would leave here at 4. He checked his info just one last time and saw it was 5:50 not 7. So at that time we had a little over and hour left to hang out. We went and took some pics, the only pics of the weekend and on my camera i only have 1 good one. Sad....Well now that he is half way home i have to say I'm starting to miss his company already. I cant get over how sweet of a guy he is and whoever ends up marrying him will be one lucky girl.

And the reason for this blog was for those that were wondering who that guy was with me on Sunday. haha And no we are not dating.

A visit to The Pumpkin Patch!!!

We have a family tradition that my parents started back when I was a baby. My mom and dad would take us kids to the pumpkin patch along the Delaware River. It is such a small but a really cute place. So as we are getting older, we decided to keep this tradition going with the grandbabies. Ashley has been taking her boys every year and so when Little Miss Kaydence came around we made our stop too. The picture on the left was her last year just a few weeks old and the one on the right is her this years. If you couldnt tell. lol What a huge difference, I cant believe it.

See that little tude she is getting......the hand going on the hip and lips out. I think she was getting sick of all the pics. haha

This year the kids weren't really up to taking pictures. They all seemed to have a little attitude. They would pose and when you call them to look at the camera they would ignore you. The 2 oldest boys did it on purpose. Its a new thing Nathan just recently started. It was just an overall bad day for them. We are lucky we got a few good pics. I do have to say they had fun running around and looking at all the pumpkins. The boys loved playing in the leaves. I guess as long as they had fun then thats all that really matters.
This one of Jayden would have been really good if the shadows of the tree werent all over his face. That actually ruined alot of our pictures.

The Party!!!

Since Kaydence's birthday was on a thursday we decided to have her big party on saturday. I went with an usual idea for a first birthday....I didnt want her party to be like everyone elses with all pink and purple stuff. And so I thought well since her birthday is in October I could go with a fall theme. I think it turned out pretty cute and wish i got more pictures but i didnt have time and if im not taking the pictures no one does.

Here is the cake I got her....the red looks really bright but it really wasnt. It turned out to be nice and she got her little one which you will see how much fun she had with that.

She really did have fun with her cake. Nathan did too in fact he helped her eat it and was feeding her some of the icing. It was cute!

The cake and icing got everywhere. Even on me, i had to change.

Birthday Girl!!!

I cant believe she is one are already. I honestly dont know where the time went and it makes me sad. I wish i took more pictures of her growing up. But then i go and look at all the pics and think i took to many. but can you honestly have to many pictures.....i dont think so. So we celebrated Kaydence's 1st birthday as a family at The Texas Roadhouse. Both her uncles work there and since they worked that night we thought we would bring the celebration to them.

Texas Roadhouse birthday tradation is to get up on the saddle while they announce it to the whole restuarant thats its your birthday. She liked the attention at first until they got loud which scared her and she screamed and started to cry. But she had fun on the saddle.

Fall Time!!!

Its fall time one of my favorite seasons. When you can bundle up with warm sweaters and all the leaves are changing colors. Its just so pretty. So last weekend my sister and her 3 boys and kaydence and my mom and I decided to go to Penn Pump Park and take pictures next to Bushkill Creek. With my camera I set the color to sephia and my sister took colored ones. We had a good time taking pictures, it was a blast. Kaydence almost fell into the water and as Ashley tries to grab her she is tripping and almost fell too. Alex just sits there and poses for the camera, i think he could be a little model.

Yes thats right he did in fact hit her. He has a bad habit of smacking her in the head. But she gives it right back to him. She tackled him the other day in the living room. It was funny she had him pinned to the ground. GO KAYDENCE!!!! She rules the house when those boys come over to play.

I love this picture of Alex and Nathan. They just look so cute with the curly hair. It was hard at times getting them to sit still. Alex was good at it and Nathan not so much. He would make weird faces and poses. But we managed to get a few good ones.

Now doesnt alex just look like model. He would serious sit by himself and pose, anywhere he felt like it. I think ashley should put him into modeling. He would do a good job.
