Updated....finally, I will try to be better at blogging.

WOW......Talk about being a huge slacker. I've just been so overwhelmed with work and doing the mom thing that I didn't have much time to update. I have so much to update you all on since my last blog in may.

We had a blast at the 4th of July party at Church and then carried it over to my aunt Debbie's house. We went swimming in her pool, its crazy cause kaydence hated the big pool last year and this year she loves it.

Kaydence and Jayden chilling with Heather. Heather is now a good friend of the families....she is almost like a sister to me. We were sad to see her leave for school but she might be coming back. Yay!!!!

I think its so cute to see these girls all dressed up. I want to try it with kaydence, not enter her in a pageant but to just dress her up. She has the attitude like the girls on the show and i think she would fit right in. haha So now back to the bum pic, she does the pose where she twists her body and does a kissy face and sticks her bum out. When i asked her to do the pose she did is backwards so i got the back shot and not the front. This little girl and so cute, she is a definite girl through and through. I LOVE IT!!!!

Went to the Shawnee Rodeo, and was kinda bummed about it. Its nothing like the rodeo's out in utah and idaho. i just remember then being longer. I wanted to see more bull riding, thats my favorite part.

We took the kids to the rodeo on Saturday afternoon. Not long after we go back home, Ashley and I decided that we were going to hang out with our friend Heather. She is staying up in Emmus with her brother for a little while, until she figures out what she is doing about school. So right after we picked her up we were headed north on lehigh st up in allentown. when all of a sudden we see this car coming around a curve way to fast, she hit the metal grated bridge and lost all traction and control of the car. She swerved back and forth and almost hit the car in front of her but instead she turned the wheel and hit us. As you can see in the pic below the damage that was done to Ashley's car.

At first we all felt fine....until the shock wore off. The girl from the other car took an ambulance to the hospital, she didnt look like she got hurt but who knows. Josh came to pick us up and us girls decided to just get checked out just incase. We all started to get a little sore and the docs explained that we just strained muscles in our shoulders and back. That if we just keep heat on them and take it easy it will eventually go away. Our doc was extremely good looking and we didnt even have to wait long at all to get in and bee seen. From now on I will be going to the Lehigh Muhlenburg hospital. They were the best!!!

Well, I have to admit I've been really bad at taking pics let alone updating my blog. We had alot going on this summer. Kaydence and I took a trip down the the Philly Zoo with my Aunt Debbie and her daughter Lizzie. We had a blast, Kaydence loved the monkey's. As we were eating we had little visitors. A little duck and this nasty goose. He was so nasty that he snatched Kaydence's chip and got her finger too. It was so funny but poor Kaydence she was so scared.

We also took a trip down to visit Leah and Saige, before the new baby arrived and before they moved back out to utah. It was quite an eventful weekend. Kaydence decided it would be fun to push poor Saige down the stairs. She was not even afraid to admit she did it. They made up pretty quickly by watching some tv together. We took the girls to applebee's. We took the girls to the beach. It was kaydence's first time and she didnt like the water that much. Not unless i was holding her. I think she could have played in the sand for hours. What was so upsetting about this trip was the fact that i left the camera in the car and didnt get any cute pics of the girls on the beach. What a bummer.

This summer I decided that I wanted to plant a garden. Nothing better than fresh veggies from your own garden. I planted some peppers, squash, zucchini, green beans, cucummber, and tomatoes. I even planted grape tomatoes for Kaydence. Which she would help me pick, she came around with her basket and as im filling it up she was eating them.

She's just so darn cute!!!!

This is a few days late but Happy Memorial Day to everyone!!! haha My family had a little BBQ at my aunt Debbies house. It was great, we let the kids run around her big yard. They really needed to let their energy out being stuck inside cause its either raining or way to hot outside. Ashley and I decided to take pictures of the kids since they were all dressed in red, white and blue. I got a few shots of

She is my little model. She was not listening to me but i have to say these pics turned out super cute. She has a little side pony tail and we found this flower (clematis) in the yard and it fit just perfectly.

HAPPY EASTER!!!!

THE KIDS HAD A BLAST DOING THE EASTER EGG HUNT. KAY WAS ACTUALLY FELL OFF THE BENCH WHILE TAKING PICS. ASHLEY GOT A PIC OF HER IN MID AIR BUT I DIDNT WANT TO POST THAT. FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT HAVE MYSPACE YOU CAN CHECK IT OUT ON THERE. HAHA I'M SO GLAD I HAVE SUCH A BEAUTIFUL LITTLE GIRL, THAT LOVES TO DRESS UP AND GET HER HAIR DONE.

SOME OF YOU MAY KNOW THAT I WENT TO UTAH LAST MONTH. I WENT TO MY FRIEND NYCH RECEPTION. HE KNEW THAT I WAS PLANNING ON COMING OUT FOR IT BUT HE THOUGHT I WAS JUST TALK AND I WOULDNT FOLLOW THROUGH WITH MY WORDS. WELL, AS I WALKED IN AND WENT DOWN THE LINE I CAME TO HIS WIFE FIRST (NEVER MET HER) AND HER FACE WAS LIKE AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW YOU. THEN NYCH LOOKED UP AND HIS FACE WAS SERIOUSLY PRICELESS. HIS JAW DROPPED AND HE WAS LIKE "NO WAY, ARE YOU SERIOUS.....NOOOO WAY" HAHA HE TURNED TO HIS WIFE AND SAID THIS IS GABBI. SHE KNEW WHO I WAS ONCE HE SAID MY NAME. I WAS SO GLAD I WAS ABLE TO SEE HIM DURING SUCH A GREAT MOMENT FOR HIM. THEY MAKE SUCH A CUTE COUPLE, IM SO MADE I DIDNT GET PICS I LEFT THE CAMERA IN THE CAR. :(

BUT MOVING RIGHT ON, I SPENT MOST OF THE TIME WITH ERIKA AND HER CUTE LITTLE FAMILY. I DID GET TO SEE MY GOOD FRIEND LAUREN AND HER HUBBY AND ADORABLE LITTLE GIRL. WHILE I WAS OUT THERE I RAN INTO AN OLD FRIEND OF MINE, HIS NAME IS DAVID. IT WAS SO WEIRD BUT GOOD AT THE SAME TIME. I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY WE DIDNT DATE BEFORE, BUT MAYBE SOMETHING MIGHT BLOOM IN THE NEAR FUTURE. HERE ARE SOME PICS OF OUR LITTLE ADVENTURE TO UTAH.

KAY GOT ALONG WITH ENOCH SO WELL, SHE NEVER LET HIM OUT OF HER SITE. ALWAYS GIVING HUGS AND KISSES. SHE ALSO REALLY LOVED EPHRAIM, SHE FOLLOWED HIM EVERYWHERE AND SHE WOULD CRY WHEN HE WOULD LEAVE AND GO TO BED. HAHA

I LOVE SHOES, I HAVE SO MANY ITS NOT EVEN FUNNY. NO LIE KAY IS SLOWLY BUT SURELY CATCHING UP TO ME. SHE HAS ALL KINDS OF SANDALS FOR THE SUMMER AND DRESS SHOES. BUT MY FAVORITE ONES HAVE TO BE THE ONES IN THE PIC BELOW. SO CUTE!!!!

MARCH 22ND WAS 2YEARS THAT MY DAD PASSED AWAY. WE STARTED A TRADITION NO MATTER WHAT DAY IT IS, WE ALL TAKE OFF WORK AND GO TO THE GRAVE SITE.

WE BUY 3 DIFFERENT KINDS OF ROSES.

2 WHITE THAT REPRESENT MOM AND DAD, 4 YELLOW THAT REPRESENT US KIDS, AND 4 RED (FOR RIGHT NOW UNTIL MORE ARRIVE) THAT REPRESENT THE GRANDKIDS. THEN AFTERWARDS WE GO TO DINNER AT THIS AMAZING MEXICAN RESTURANT IN DOWNTOWN EASTON. THE FOOD THERE IS SO GOOD. ITS THE ONE TIME EACH YEAR THAT WE ALL CAN BE TOGETHER AS THE KIRKLAND CLAN. EVEN THOUGH HE IS PHYSICALLY GONE, HE WILL ALWAYS LIVE IN OUR HEARTS. THEIR IS NOT A DAY THAT PASSES THAT I DONT THINK OF HIM.

The good times

Hey sorry for not posting on a regular basis. Im not good at this, i never know what to say. But here it goes....oh and this is all backwords so you might want to start from the bottom of this post.


Miss Kaydence had to go into surgery on Wednesday. As you can see in the pic above she has a small bandage on her ear. She was born with a sinus track on her left ear lobe and over time is collected dirt and oil which then caused a cyst. She she had the track and cyst removed. That was one of the hardest things to do, right next to the time I was visiting leah. lol But we wont get into that story. Lets just say we were in the ER from like 1am to 5am with a 104.5 temp. But you can see my baby girl is strong and pulled through that and the surgery just fine.

She was actually really nasty right after she woke up. They gave her these 2oz bottles and she downed 2 within 5min. And got mad and threw them, then she started smacking me. Oh that was so hard, i knew she had no idea what she was doing i just felt helpless.

Now she has her own bottle and is much happier.

What a trooper!!!!

My angel on New Years Eve. We had a good time at my sisters house, erika and enoch came over and after we put the kids to bed mom, ash, erika, and me played the game outburst. Heads up to those that ever play with me and erika, i'd recommend going on the other team unless your willing to lose. haha It was fun having erika there, it reminded me of our fun times before idaho and then when we were in idaho. lol

After christmas we all got the flu, this is our second round of it within 2 weeks. It hit Kay really hard.

She loves this baby, she will kiss it and hug it so tight. She even makes that squeeze noise when she hugs it. So CUTE!!!

Its the first thing she went to when she walked in the room. She was so excited, she stopped at the door and made the biggest SIGH ever.

Christmas morning!!!

Ok so i gave Kay the bowl of cookies to put on her table. She decided that it was a good idea to give them all a good lick. She also dropped them all over the floor. So i knew not to eat them. But in the morning i noticed the cookies were gone. haha yup the uncles ate them. I told them about it which made them a little sick. But come on how funny is that, i couldnt resist not telling them about it.

Update on the past month.

OK so i slacked off a little bit and didn't post a blog in like a month. I'm actually not sure if i post any Halloween pics so here are a bunch of random pics. I do have to mention it...Kay said "SANTA" the other day and if he comes on TV she will say his name. Isn't that great!!! I'm so excited, she comes out with the most random words ever. She is growing up so fast, at times i wish i could pause it and make the memories last forever

My little mouse/ rat baby!!!

Half the time i miss Sunday school and relief society cause Kay is really fussy(cause its her nap time), so I try to get her to sleep and she fights it as much as possible. Luckily i get some extra help by my mom or Cindy. She wont go to anyone else. :( Within a few seconds of Cindy holding her she was out. Then the bell rang and woke her right up. haha their is no winning.

My mom has a huge collection of snowmen. And we let Kaydence play with the stuffed ones. She loves these guys or any stuff animal.

So I took a few days off last week cause i was sick with the flu and so I took some time and played around with Kay's hair.

I wanted to do something special to Kay's hair for the Sunday before Christmas. so i put foam curlers in her hair. haha and the best part is she let me do it with not to much fussiness. But when i took them out the next morning the curls were way to tight and she looks like she had a afro. So She sat on my lap and i straighten it and it looked so cute.

After church we were just relaxing and i guess kay found a pencil and paper and started drawing on it. The crazy thing about it is I never really should her how to do it. She just did it all on her own. She amazes me everyday with the new things she does. I love waking up and watching to see what she will do.
